Nursing major with a passion for photography. She got her first “real” camera when she was in her freshman year of high school about to embark to Greece with her school. She then continued to take photography classes in high school. This first was only working with black and white film then moved on to digital photos working with Photoshop. In college she has continued to participate in photography. Her freshman year she was awarded 3rd place for one of her photos she submitted to an Elmira College photo contest and her sophomore year she got 2nd in the same contest. Hopefully this year the trend continues. Now she is about to finish her first photography class in college, this website it all her work thus far.

She is a photographer that uses her craft to challenge the traditional conceptions of her time. Her early work emergence around the same time as the feminist movement and her work become strongly associated with it. At a time when female frontal nudity was considered too much for the public eye she pushed the boundaries. Some people would say her work is a slightly out side the norm, but that what made her so great. Her worked pushed people to think. Once they got past the appearance of the picture they could see all emotion and thought that went into it. Even though most of her work is in black and white, they all still have so much color. The emotion captured is all the color she needs.
